CREATE. HEAL. GROW.
We're all born with an innate wisdom, a power within us that helps guide us in the direction of our most inspiring and rewarding life. At the Halifax Expressive Arts Community, we're committed to helping you expand your knowledge and reconnect with your authentic self through creative self-expression. Our mission is to inspire you to find your own balance between mind, body, and spirit, so that you can thrive in all areas of life and become the best version of yourself. We believe this journey is best undertaken in community, where we can support and learn from each other.
Join our creative classes and take the first steps on your journey of self-discovery with the support of our community. Twice a month, you'll be introduced to transformational activities that blend creative self-expression with modern insights drawn from psychology to foster personal growth and meaningful change. Our classes will teach you how to calm your mind, dismantle limiting beliefs, connect with your intuition, transform your emotions, release stress, and unlock your authentic inner power.
Together, we’re creating a community of creative changemakers who can support and inspire each other as we learn to flourish and connect with who we truly are. Let us help you reconnect with your authentic self and find the balance between mental and emotional wellbeing.
We believe everyone should have access to free mental health support that’s led by and for the community. By coming together—through social and peer support—we can create low-cost, accessible, and sustainable ways to nurture our mental wellness. That’s why we’re building this community wellness space where creativity and art-making become a catalyst for deeper connection and healing. We’re all in this together, and we can’t wait to learn, grow, and thrive alongside you!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
Taking part in the class was truly amazing for me. I've battled anxiety for a long time, and I was honestly blown away by how something as simple as painting could bring me such a deep sense of calm and peace. The class gave me this safe space to work through my fears in a way I never thought possible. When it was over, I walked away feeling lighter and more capable of handling life's challenges. Art has turned into a vital part of how I take care of myself, and I'm really thankful for how much it's boosted my mental health.
